Featured Artist: Itchyworms
Itchyworms got the top award at the 1997 NU 107 Band Mania, the third place
at the 1997 Philippine MTV Band Alert, and the Best New Artist honor at the 2001
NU 107 Rock Awards. But it was the commercial jingle "Helo, Moto" that made
the band crossed from the Indie ranks into mainstream recognition.
Composed of Jugs Jugueta (vocals/guitar), Jazz Nicolas (vocals/drums),
Chino Singson (lead guitar) and Kelvin Yu (bass), the band cooked up hits with
catchy melodies and quirky lyrics - humorous, satirical and unconventional.
